Samoan winger Ken Pisi will miss Northampton's clash with Castres in the Heineken Cup after picking up an ankle injury against Exeter.

Pisi was replaced in the 60th minute against the Chiefs after picking up the problem but should only be sidelined for about a week according to Northampton Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder.

“Ken Pisi is going to be out for a week or so, he's got an ankle injury and hopefully it's not too bad,” said Mallinder to the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.

Prop Brian Mujati will be another absentee against the French side, as he continues to work his way back from a calf injury.

“Brian Mujati is still coming back from his calf strain,” added Mallinder.

“James Wilson is close, Christian Day is close, James Craig is close.

“That's really positive news so it will be great when we can get them back.”
