Former Springbok fly-half Naas Botha believes it's time for change at the top for the Bulls going into next year.

The three-time champions missed out on the play-offs with their loss to the Rebels in Melbourne last weekend, with the Stormers going on to win the South African Conference.

Highlighting all the talent in the Bulls squad, Botha believes more can come from a strong group and made his frustrations clears when speaking to Netwerk24.

Current boss Frans Ludeke is reportedly under contract until 2016, although his position could be reviewed.

Victor Matfield, Flip van der Merwe and Jacques du Plessis are all moving on at the end of the season.

“We have so many Springboks and so much talent. I’m really disappointed,” said Botha.

“There should definitely be a change. Things cannot continue like this, because what we’re seeing at present is not good enough.”
