The 25-year-old was injured after being struck on the head by a ball playing for South Australia against New South Wales two days ago.

Hughes was taken to hospital in a critical condition and had emergency surgery before being placed in an induced coma, but tragically never regained consciousness.

Australia have confirmed that their players will wear black armbands in honour of Hughes for Saturday’s game at Twickenham against England.
