England captain Chris Robshaw faces three to four weeks out with a shoulder injury but should be fit for the Six Nations.
The Harlequins flanker saw a specialist this week about the problem, with fears he might need surgery to fix it.
It turns out he will not have to go under the knife, however he faces a month on the sidelines, meaning he will not feature again in 2014.
He had already been ruled out of Quins’ trip to Leinster this weekend, while he will probably miss a further four Premiership games.
He should, however, be back in plenty of time for the Six Nations, which will come as a relief to England coach Stuart Lancaster.
