Rebels head coach Tony McGahan hopes key trio Jack Debreczeni, Mike Harris and Nic Stirzaker will all be fit to tour South Africa.
All three players missed the Rebels opening win over the Force on Saturday.
Stirzaker is close to completing his return from shoulder reconstruction while a stomach bug forced Debreczeni to withdraw before kick-off.
Harris, meanwhile has a quad injury which the Rebels medical staff will carefully monitor.
"Jack will be fine, he came down with a stomach bug at lunchtime on game day," McGahan told the Canberra Times.
"It was one of things that can come up, we gave him every chance to play but he wasn't right.
"Mike is getting a scan and we'll wait and see how bad his quad injury is – he'll get diagnosed and we'll make an early call on whether he is able to play.
"We have a big six weeks in front of us and a long flight there and back which affects a muscle injury.
He added: "Nic was doing some stuff on Saturday which was really positive and he has another block of training on Monday and if things work well he will travel with us.
"We have a good opportunity to play Nic but we are in no rush because we know we have good players in our squad as we showed on Saturday night."
