The Melbourne Rebels continue to bulk up their squad as they confirmed the signing of three players for the 2016 Super Rugby season.

Harley Fox, Dan Hawkins and Mick Snowden will join the Melbourne based side as Rebels coach, Tony McGahan’s team for the upcoming campaign nears completion.

2014 Australian Schoolboy Captain Fox will provide cover in the back row, while versatile back Hawkins who recently concluding his NPC season with Northland, will add the spark in the backline, seeing that he can cover fly-half, full-back and is a capable goal kicker.

Meanwhile experienced scrum-half Snowden, who made his Super Rugby debut with the Western Force in 2012 will compete with Ben Meehan and Nic Stirzaker for the number nine jersey.

Melbourne Rebels coach, Tony McGahan believes that adding Fox, Hawkins and Snowden will add the needed spark to their 2016 Super Rugby season.

"Throughout our recruitment process, General Manager, Baden Stephenson and I have been looking to deliver a more balanced profile in the playing group," said McGahan

"We think the addition of Harley, Dan and Mick gives us the right mix of youth, variety and club experience to continue the Melbourne Rebels competitive edge into the 2016 season."
