Racing-Métro picked up their first Heineken Cup victory on Saturday courtesy of a dogged 16-9 success over Clermont in Paris.

Racing-Métro sealed a first Heineken Cup win on Saturday courtesy of a dogged 16-9 victory over Clermont at Stade Olympique Yves du Manoir.

Veteran Fijian winger Sireli Bobo crossed for the game's only try after 38 minutes with fly-half Jonathan Wisniewski adding 11 points to open the hosts' account after a first-up loss at Leinster.

Gavin Williams slotted three penalties for the beaten French champions, who had defeated Saracens in their opener.
