Racing Métro could be fined €50,000 after the numbers on the back of their shirts against Toulon were 'practically invisible.'

AFP report that the numbers on the back of Racing's shirts, which featured in them a mosaic of pictures of their fans, could land the club in hot water.

€50,000 is the maximum amount Racing can expect to be fined given that their shirt numbers didn't follow the regulations of the Top 14, which are that numbers must be “very apparent” (art. 378) and “perfectly legible and identifiable” (art.379).

The minimum possible fine for the two offences is €5000.
