Fiji captain Akapusi Qera has signed a new contract to keep him at Montpellier until 2018.
Qera's previous contract was set to expire at the end of the season after he arrived in 2014 following a brief stint with Toulouse.
The 31-year-old spent seven years in the Premiership with Gloucester and is excited about staying with Montpellier for the long term.
"It means a lot for me but also for my family," Qera said.
Personally, with the new coaching staff and the changes I've seen at the club, I want to be a part of this project."
Qera won his 50th cap for Fiji during this year's Rugby World Cup.
