France hooker Benjamin Kayser believes Argentina have the best scrum in the world ahead of Saturday’s clash with the Pumas.

The two sides meet in Paris at the Stade de France, with Les Bleus trying to complete an unbeaten November series after wins over Fiji and Australia.

But while there have been a number of improvements around the park, the French scrum has been a concern, with the Wallabies getting the upper hand for the first hour last weekend before France turned it around.

That could be a major issue against Argentina, who have been outstanding in the set-piece all year, and will need more dominance up front if they are to pick up a first win away in France since 2007.

“They have the best scrum in the world at the moment, and the most dominant,” said Kayser.

“They were able to put South Africa under pressure, they pushed the All Blacks around and Australia as well.

“To cause a shock at scrum-time in this game is possible, but to keep dominating, that’s really something.

“They are going to come here aiming to have a big game in this area.”
