Props Ramiro Herrera and Santiago Garcia Botta have become the latest signings for Argentina's new Super Rugby franchise.

Tighthead Herrera joins from Castres after two seasons in the Top 14 and helping his team to the final last year.

Meanwhile 22-year-old Garcia Botta arrives from Stade Français where he has been a fringe player so far this campaign.

"It's an opportunity to be part of history with the first Argentine team to play in Super Rugby and I'm very happy to be part of this product which will be a first for everyone," said Herrera.

"I had a wonderful time in France, playing in a championship with top quality players and in a cool city like Castres, where it was really comfortable, but I felt that if I stayed in France, I wouldn't ever come back.

"I wanted to be part of history and didn't want to miss the chance to play Super Rugby, and of course for los Pumas."
