Bath have suffered a blow after fly-half Rhys Priestland was sidelined for up to 12 weeks after sustaining a knee injury last Friday.

The 29-year-old, who has been standing in for George Ford whilst he’s on international duty with England, was injured during the win over Bristol.

According to the Bath Chronicle, the Wales international playmaker is to have a scan but it looks like he could miss between eight to 12 weeks.

“Rhys looked in a lot of pain on Friday and he was in a lot of pain all weekend, so that’s never a good sign,” said head coach Tabai Matson.
