Taranaki coach Colin Cooper has made just two changes to his starting XV for Saturday's clash with Southland in New Plymouth.

Amongst the backs, Jamison Gibson-Park has recovered from a calf strain to replace Chris Smylie at scrum-half while in the forwards, Iopu Iopu-Aso takes over from the Riki Hoeata at blindside flank, after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Hoeata is still in the run-on side and moves into the second row at the expense of Leighton Price.

There are also some changes amongst the replacements with Kurt Baker set to return to action after a lengthy lay-off with a hamstring tear, while Mitchell Brown has also been included in the matchday squad after a spell on the sidelines with a thumb injury.
