Waikato have made three changes to their starting XV for Sunday's ITM Cup fixture against Otago at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Waikato have made three changes to their starting line-up for Sunday's ITM Cup fixture against Otago in Dunedin.

There is a first start at hooker for Hame Faiva, who comes in for the injured Brayden Mitchell, while lock Jacob Skeen and centre Jordan Payne return after missing last week's win over Counties.

Skeen comes in for the injured Luke Katene and Payne replaces centre Chauncy Edwardson who moves back to the bench. Other changes on the bench include the return of hooker Harry Jones and scrum-half Harrison Levien to the playing 22.

Regan Ware also keeps his spot on the right wing with Declan O'Donnell not recovering from an ankle injury sustained just before kick off last Sunday.
