Cory Jane will make his first start on his injury comeback as Wellington look to make it ten wins from ten in 2013 when they take on Hawke's Bay.
Thursday's fixture will be the Lions' final ITM Cup round-robin match for the season brings with it a special milestone for Samoa wing Alapati Leiua.
Lining up on the left wing, Leiua will play his 50th game for the Lions, with the strong player saying the achievement had been a long time coming.
“It means a lot to play 50 games for a team I grew up supporting,” he told Wellington's website.
“It's been a tough seven weeks recovering from surgery and getting myself match-fit, but I'm very fortunate and excited to have finally achieved this great milestone.”
With a home semi-final already in the bag, the Lions are by no means in relaxation mode as coaches Chris Boyd and Richard Watt have named a fu+ll-strength side.
