After a humbling defeat on the road last week, Grenoble return to their fortress in the Alps for Friday’s Top 14 clash with Brive.

Although they are unbeaten at the Stade des Alpes, FCG face a tough challenge against a Brive side that would have marked this game in their calendar at the start of the season.

Seventh-placed Grenoble were thrashed 51-10 in Castres last week as they conceded seven tries in a performance that left coach Fabrice Landreau baffled by his players’ lack of aggression and commitment.

His quotes this week suggest that Landreau will not tolerate another below-par showing.

Home field advantage is always huge in France and against the Brive side that has yet to tastes success on the road this term, the hosts will start as favourites.
