Sam Warburton is very much looking at the positives such as being able to enjoy a full pre-season after he was ruled out for the remainder of 2013/14.
The Wales captain and Cardiff Blues flanker, who dislocated his shoulder in the Six Nations, won't play again until the start of the new campaign.
But the 25-year-old has approached the setback with a glass half-full mindset as he looks forward to being fit and raring for the 2014/15 season.
“It'll be the first time I'll have a good two and a half months pre-season since maybe 2009 when I first came through,” Warburton told BBC Sport.
“I think for the long term it could be a good thing for me and come September I'll be raring to go.”
