Toulouse star Clément Poitrenaud has revealed that he will be out for around two to three months, bringing his season to an end.
The veteran former France international suffered the injury during last Friday's victory over Montpellier in the Top 14.
Poitrenaud tweeted that he suffered a "small fracture" and a "big sprain" and would need some time to recover.
The 32-year-old international was last selected by France back in 2012 in the Six Nations against Wales, but has continued to be a valuable player for his club side.
Toulouse are currently fifth in the Top 14, eleven points behind leaders Toulon.
