Bordeaux-Bègles and France international prop Jefferson Poirot will miss the Six Nations after it was confirmed he is out for three months.

Club boss Raphaël Ibanez revealed the setback, with the eight-times capped prop suffering a calf injury during the warm-up to last week’s game.

Poirot, 24, started four and was a replacement in one game of les Bleus‘ Six Nations campaign in 2016 and is a significant absence for the team.
