Bristol centre Tusi Pisi can return to the field on January 10 after being handed a two week suspension by an RFU Disciplinary panel.

The charge against the centre was for tackling the jumper in the air, contrary to Law 10.4(i), was heard in Bristol yesterday evening.

Pisi pleaded guilty and was given a two-week suspension.

Pisi was sent off by referee Wayne Barnes in the Premiership match between Bristol and Worcester Warriors for tackling Jamie Shillcock of Worcester when he was jumping for the ball in open play.

The RFU Disciplinary panel said: "The player accepted the charge on the basis that this was a reckless challenge with no intent to cause injury. The panel agreed and determined this was a low-end entry point giving full mitigation on account of his plea and remorse," the panel said.
