Pietersen at full-back for Cheetahs

The Cheetahs have named their side that will face the Lions at Ellis Park on Saturday, with Joe Pietersen moving into the full-back shirt.

Naka Drotské's side enters the derby without injured duo Willie le Roux and Heinrich Brüssow, with Tienie Burger replacing the latter at openside.

Meanwhile, loosehead prop BG Uys is suffering from a back injury and has been ruled out for three weeks. He will be replaced by Danie Mienie with Caylib Oosthuizen named on the bench as cover.

In the backline, Willie du Plessis will direct the team from fly-half alongside scrum-half Sarel Pretorius, with Clayton Blommetjies on the bench.

The last game between these two teams was on April 5, 2014 at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, which ended in a 43-43 scoreline.
