Pau have added Argentina playmaker Santiago Fernández to their squad for next season after he signed a two-year deal with the Top 14 club.
The 29-year-old, who can play fly-half or in the centres, arrives from relegated Bayonne and has previously played for Montpellier in the top flight.
Pau have already shown their ambition on their return to the Top 14 with the signings of All Black duo Conrad Smith and Colin Slade as well as former Lions tighthead Euan Murray.
"I'm delighted to have Santiago in our squad for the next two seasons," said head coach Simon Mannix.
"He's got a lot of technical qualities but above all, huge experience in the Top 14. He also has Test experience with the Pumas and will bring his vision to our backline. His arrival is great news."
