Parra urges Clermont not to relax

Despite a convincing 44-20 victory over Brive on Saturday, Clermont’s Morgan Parra was unhappy with the tries his side conceded.

Clermont regained the top spot in the league on points difference with the win over Brive, their 11th of the season.

Parra however was frustrated with how Clermont relaxed defensively for Brive’s tries, as the visitors finished up with three scores.

“Our line of work this week will be focused on the defence,” Parra told Rugbyrama.

“We have to realise that we can’t relax and to not concede tries so stupidly and easily.

“We made it too easy for them to score.”
