Stade Français captain Sergio Parisse hailed his side's performance after they claimed a 12-6 win over Clermont in the Top 14 Final in Paris on Saturday.
Despite, the low-scoring result, the Italy number eight was delighted and when asked how he felt after his side's triumph Parisse replied: "It's just a dream".
"It wasn't a great final to watch, but we don't care, we dealt with it and we let nothing go."
Meanwhile, Clermont's woeful record continued as they suffered their 11th defeat in 12 Top 14 finals. It is also their second loss in a final this year after they finished as runners-up to Toulon in the Champions Cup Final in May.
"Once again we lose – we have this horrible reputation," said Clermont skipper Damien Chouly.
"There's an anger we feel towards ourselves, what with history repeating itself."
