Sergio Parisse is looking forward to facing his old side Treviso this weekend when Stade Français head to Italy in the Champions Cup.
Parisse left the Italian outfit to move to Paris back in 2005 and guided Stade to last season's Top 14 title.
The 32-year-old Italy captain will know plenty of his opponents well on Saturday after their time together at the Rugby World Cup and is returning to the Stade Comuniale di Monigo for the first time as an opponent.
Stade's form coming into the contest is also far from perfect, with just four wins from their first ten games in the Top 14.
"It's my old club, I know a lot of their players who I play with regularly for Italy," Parisse told AFP.
"Since I left Treviso, it's the first time I'm going to go back to play against my old team.
"It's going to be good to see friends, a town in which I spent my youth and where I enjoyed a lot of fantastic moments.
"It's going to be great. I know they're a team that technically are definitely not at our level but which, in terms of spirit and commitment will be present. They won't give an inch."
