Otago produced an impressive four-try performance on Sunday as they cut loose against Waikato, defeating the Mooloos 38-7 at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The home side were in front from the third minute when flanker Tom Franklin went over before Waikato fly-half Damian McKenzie responded.

But from then on it was all Otago as a try from centre Teihorangi Walden and the boot of the impressive Hayden Parker sent them in 22-7 up.

After the resumption it was all Otago too as Parker crossed in the 55th minute before Fa'asiu Fuatai's score claimed the bonus-point for the home side.

Waikato will look to respond next week when they host Manawatu while Otago travel to Tasman.
