Leicester and England centre Manu Tuilagi has been hit by another delay as he tries to come back in time for the Six Nations.
Reports in England suggest that Tuilagi could now miss the start of the tournament given that the 23-year-old isn’t due back in action with Leicester until the middle of January.
England open up their campaign away against Wales on February 6.
Tuilagi’s groin injury forced him to miss the November Tests as England continued to try and discover a successful centre partnership, but with little success.
Billy Twelvetrees, Kyle Eastmond and Brad Barritt were all used in November, with Luther Burrell also missing out through injury, as Stuart Lancaster tries to settle on a combination with the Rugby World Cup looming ahead next year.
