Harlequins have announced that Alofa Alofa has signed a new deal, extending his time at the Premiership side on a long-term contract.
The news comes as Harlequins prepare for their opening match of the Anglo-Welsh Cup against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday, the final of which will be hosted at The Stoop on Sunday, March 19.
The three-time capped Samoan centre has made six appearances for Harlequins since making his debut during the victory over Bristol at the London Double Header.
"Alofa has impressed me hugely in both his attitude towards his necessary rehabilitation in the summer and now his day to day training and playing standards," said director of rugby John Kingston.
"He is a fabulous talent and I have made the swift decision to extend his original one-year contract.
"I am delighted he has committed his long-term future to Harlequins."
Commenting on the news Alofa added: "I am honoured to have extended my time with Harlequins. Since joining in the summer, my family and I have settled in well. There is a great buzz around training and I’m excited to be able to play my part for the next few years."
