Montpellier have announced that front-row Mikheil Nariashvili has signed a contract extension with the club until 2022.

The Georgian international has become an asset for Montpellier thanks to the experience he has acquired over the years.

The talented Nariashvili joined Montpellier's senior side side straight from their training centre, which he joined in 2010, before signing his first professional contract in the 2012/2013 season.

The 26-year-old, who has played in over 135 games for Montpellier said he is "very pleased" with his contract extension as always wanted to commit to the long term in the Hérault.

"Montpellier is a club that is in my heart, I am really proud and very honest in saying that I never thought of leaving it!" he told Montpellier's official website.
