Napolioni Nalaga is set to join second flight side Lyon next season after undergoing a medical with the club.
The Fijian winger was due to leave Clermont for Toulon at the end of the season, but reports emerged last week that the European champions were looking to pull out of the deal.
Mourad Boudjellal denied that was the case, but Nalaga was reportedly in Lyon today for physical tests before completing a move, according to Rugbyrama.
The 29-year-old has scored 79 tries in the Top 14 during two stints with Clermont, while he has also scored 25 tries in the European Cup.
Lyon were officially relegated last week with defeat at Oyonnax and complete their season at home to Grenoble this weekend.
Nalaga will join fellow Clermont player Julien Bonnaire, who is also off to Lyon next year.
