The Sharks are boosted by the return of Lwazi Mvovo, who takes the place of Odwa Ndungane, for their trip to face the Blue Bulls at Loftus on Saturday.

Mvovo has been released from the Springbok squad for the Currie Cup game and joins Paul Jordaan in returning to the side after a break.

Up front, props Lourens Adriaanse and Dale Chadwick continue alongside hooker Kyle Cooper, with JC Astle back in the XV in the second-row.

The back-row is unchanged as coach Brad Macleod-Henderson looks ahead to a daunting venue that also excites him and his players.

“Loftus is always a tough place to go, but we're looking forward to the challenge,” Macleod-Henderson told the Sharks website.

“We know the Blue Bulls have a big pack of forwards and a good kicking game, so we need to make sure that we match that and take our opportunities.

“They are enjoying a good run of form; they've always had a very formidable home record, so we know it's going to be a huge challenge.”
