Connacht second-rower Aly Muldowney is set to join Top 14 side Grenoble on a two-year deal at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old second-rower, who joined the PRO12 side from Exeter Chiefs in 2013, made his debut for the Irish province against Zebre in September of that year.
Muldowney, who has made more than 50 appearances for Connacht, expressed his delight at the new challenge that awaits him.
"I am happy to have signed for Grenoble," Muldowney told the Irish Times.
"My family and I look forward to arriving. This is a beautiful city and a fantastic rugby club.
"I spoke with Bernard Jackman several times and he has a great vision for the club, which is very exciting and I’m looking forward to, hopefully, playing a role.
"It’s also a great opportunity for me to play the Top 14, that one of the best and most challenging competitions in the world."
