French club Montpellier have confirmed the arrival of Springbok front-row duo Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis.
The brothers, who were part of South Africa's World Cup-winning squad in 2007, have signed three-year deals as they are reunited with former Springbok and Sharks coach Jake White.
"They are very experienced. It's fantastic for them to come here and share their knowledge with the Montpellier players," commented White.
Bismarck du Plessis has played 70 Tests for South Africa, while Jannie has 62 Test caps. The duo share the record (42) for most Springbok Tests as brothers.
Bismarck is the most capped Sharks player ever at Super Rugby level, with 129 appearances, while Jannie has appeared 117 times for the Durban side.
They join fellow South Africans Pierre Spies, Jacques du Plessis and Demetri Catrakilis on Montpellier's recruitment list for next season.
