Cheetahs head coach Franco Smith has named Oupa Mohoje as captain due to the absence of Francois Venter for their home clash with the Bulls.

Venter suffered a concussion against the Sharks last weekend and is replaced in the backline by William Small-Smith for their final game.

Joining Mohoje in the back-row is Uzair Cassiem and Paul Schoeman while Charles Marais is loosehead and Armandt Koster comes in at lock.

The Cheetahs sit 13th in the overall standings after winning just four games this season.
