French international playmaker Frédéric Michalak is set to return from a long injury layoff for Toulon in Saturday's Top 14 clash against Toulouse.
Michalak's long-awaited return, against his former club, comes six months after he underwent surgery on his shoulder and is a welcome boost for the defending French champions, who are currently without former Wallaby pivot Matt Giteau.
Juan Martín Hernández is likely to start at 10 with Michalak on the bench.
RCT have also included French Six Nations players Guilhem Guirado and Maxime Mermoz in their extended squad but have left out the likes of Leigh Halfpenny, Delon Armitage, Juan Smith and Bakkies Botha.
It is hoped that Giteau will be fit in time for Toulon's European quarter-final against Wasps but Springbok wing Bryan Habana is likely to miss out.
