Toulouse full-back Maxime Médard isn’t getting his hopes up for a return to Test rugby with France ahead of the Six Nations.
The 30-year-old missed the November Tests through injury but has featured regularly under Guy Novès since his former club boss took over as France coach at the start of 2016.
Médard played in all five Six Nations matches last year, starting in three, and also faced Argentina last June in the Test series between the two countries.
“Scott (Spedding) and Brice (Dulin) both offer plenty of advantages,” Médard told Rugbyrama.
“If they decide to call me up I will be very happy but for the moment my aim is to find my best form this season with Toulouse.”
