McAlister off to Toulon?

Former All Black utility-back Luke McAlister seems set to be snapped up by Toulon.

McAlister, who has been at Toulouse since 2011, will be released from the club at the end of the season and according to Midi Olympique he could be on his way to Toulon.

He could prove to be a handy replacement for Australian stalwart Matt Giteau after he broke his ankle in October and could pair up with another All Black in Ma'a Nonu.

The 33-year-old could bring a wealth of experience to Toulon after getting 126 caps for Toulouse, 36 caps for Sale Sharks before that and 30 caps for New Zealand.
