Toulon number eight Chris Masoe could be playing his rugby just outside Paris next season, according to reports.
Masoe's future is up in the air with the former All Black set to depart the Stade Mayol at the end of the current campaign when his contract expires.
Now 35, Masoe had been linked with a return to his old side Castres earlier in the year.
However a fresh report from RMC now suggests that Masoe may be heading north on a one-year contract to join Racing Métro, with the option of a second season. Racing owner Jacky Lorenzetti refused to comment on the speculation on Tuesday.
Masoe has been one of the form number eights in the French top flight in recent years, although he missed Toulon's Top 14 and European success at the end of last season after damaging knee ligaments in December 2013.
A five-year veteran with the Hurricanes, Masoe spent three years with Castres between 2008-2011 before his current stint with Toulon.
