Blue Bulls coach Nollis Marais has blamed a lack of accuracy for his team's heavy 43-20 defeat to the Cheetahs on the weekend.
The warning signs have been raised at Loftus Versfeld after a big defeat like that as the Bulls prepare to host the EP Kings this coming Saturday.
The men from Pretoria lost at least five line-out throws, conceded two penalties at scrum time and made countless handling errors. Marais acknowledges they will have to be much more accurate in executing their game-plan going forward.
"Our attacking play is not good at all at the moment," Marais told Netwerk24.
"We had many opportunities which we didn't use, but hats off to the Cheetahs, they played very well and were much better at using their chances than us.
"It's never nice to concede five (league) points and we didn't even manage to get a bonus point out of the game. It's still early in the competition so we'll have to get a few things right going forward. Injuries are also a factor, but we'll definitely need to be better."
