Kenya Sevens head coach Paul Treu has picked his squad for the latest leg of the World Series in Dubai.

Star names such as Collins Injera remain unselected, despite the recent strike action from Kenya’s players having come to an end.

The squad were also rocked by a doping charge back in October.

The list of absentees though remains a huge concern; Injera, Humphrey Kayange, Biko Adema, Dennis Ombachi, Phillip Wamae, Horace Otieno, Felix Ayange, Lavin Asego and Fabian Olando all remain out of the group for Dubai.

Kenya were beaten by Wales and South Africa in the pool stages of the Gold Coast leg last month, going on to lose the Shield final against Canada.
