London Irish have secured the services of prop Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi, who will join from Northampton Saints ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The 22-year-old, who was part of the England U20 squad that lifted successive Junior World Championships in 2013 and 2014, has inked a two-year deal with the club.
Progressing through the ranks at Franklin's Gardens, the Northampton-born front-row has been dual registered with Championship side Moseley for the last two seasons whilst enjoying playing time with the Saints in the LV= Cup.
Developing his game under the watchful eye of Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder, Hobbs-Awoyemi is looking forward to making the switch to Irish.
"I’m really looking forward to joining up with my new teammates in the summer," said Hobbs-Awoyemi.
He added: "I enjoyed my time with Northampton, and now I have a great opportunity to continue my development with London Irish.
"I can’t wait to get stuck in and show what I can do."
Head of Rugby Operations Glenn Delaney said: "We have been monitoring the progress of Danny for some time now and he will undoubtedly strengthen our options in the front-row department.
"Danny is a highly regarded prop, and we are delighted to develop his talent at London Irish."
