Cheetahs lock Lood de Jager will have to decide whether he will make the Lions or the Bulls home next season.
De Jager was injured playing for the Springboks against Ireland in the June international window, so his Cheetahs Super Rugby career is done and dusted with his contract tying him to Bloemfontein set to expire after the Currie Cup.
The Springbok lock told Netwerk24 that he wants to join a team that can win trophies and the Lions and the Bulls seem to be the main competitors for the giant's signature.
"There are lots of things that still need to fall in place," de Jager said.
"Nothing has been finalised yet. But it’s between the Bulls and Lions so we’ll have to wait and see how the negotiations develop."
