Ospreys scrum-half Brendon Leonard is backing his side to get the win over Champions Cup heavyweights Clermont at Liberty Stadium on Friday.
The New Zealander, who was capped thirteen times by his country, will start alongside Dan Biggar in a must-win fixture for the Welsh region.
If they win the Ospreys will go atop Pool 2, moving above Clermont, with Leonard confident they have the players to make the knockouts.
"We've got the team to get through to the quarter-finals," he told BBC Sport, with Ospreys having not lost at home to a French side since 2004.
"We are definitely confident we can win this.
"Clermont are such a formidable team and they've got an amazing record in the last few years so they'll be coming here to win as well.
"So it's just about getting excited and having quiet confidence about us, knowing that if we play well we'll be in with a chance of winning."
