Cardiff Blues prop Anton Peikrishvili will not play rugby in 2016 again after receiving a six-week ban for biting.

Peikrishvili was charged for acts contrary to good sportsmanship, contrary to Law 10.4(m) and pleaded guilty.

The prop was sent off by referee Ben Whitehouse in the Anglo-Welsh Cup match between Cardiff Blues and Ospreys for biting Rob McCusker of Ospreys. The incident occurred in the second half of the match.

The six-week suspension was backdated to Tuesday 22nd November. Peikrishvili is free to play again on Monday January 2.
