Leinster could be without Ireland full-back Rob Kearney for this weekend's Champions Cup opener against Wasps in Dublin.
The experienced back is dealing with a hamstring injury after pulling up in Leinster's win over the Scarlets in the PRO12 last Friday.
“Rob pulled up with tightness in his hamstring, he would be a concern and probably a major doubt with that hamstring strain," backs coach Girvan Dempsey told The42.ie
There was better news however on the fitness of Luke Fitzgerald, with Dempsey revealing the Ireland back is eager to get back playing after sitting out last Friday's game.
"He went to see the consultant and, we’ll have to see how he goes in training this week, but we’re pretty confident his shoulder is good and he’s keen to get going," he added.
"Just a stinger, he went in for that extra-man tackle and got caught on the top of the shoulder.
"We’re confident he’ll be available this weekend."
