Leinster loose forward Shane Jennings is facing three to four weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
The 33-year-old sustained the injury during last weekend’s narrow loss to Connacht in Galway.
“Everyone else came through the game relatively injury free apart from a few minor bumps and bruises,” read a Leinster injury update.
“There was positive news with regard to Dave Kearney, who continues to rehabilitate from his knee injury. Dave took to the pitch yesterday for the first time and is making good progress although he is still some weeks away from joining the rest of the squad.”
Richardt Strauss’s recovery from his hamstring injury is stepping up this week after he emerged unscathed from his first contact sessions last week.
Coach Matt O’Connor will confirm his team to face Cardiff Blues on Friday on Thursday.
