Leicester Tigers back Matt Smith has said that the Premiership giants will be taking nothing for granted against Treviso this weekend.
A bonus point win last Friday over Top 14 champions Stade Français was the perfect start for Smith and the Tigers, who haven't finished further in the competition than the quarter-finals since 2009.
Smith was one of Leicester's try scorers last Friday but admitted that the win would "could for nothing" if the Tigers fail to back it up away in Italy.
Treviso lost 32-7 away to Munster in Round 1.
"It's the Champions Cup and we knew we would have to lift our game. We have targeted nine points from these first two games so we know we have go to Treviso and go again or this game will count for nothing," Smith told the EPC Rugby website.
"We have played Treviso a lot in Europe. A few years ago it took Alesana Tuilagi to score in the final minute to get a victory over there.
"They are a passionate bunch so it will be tough. We have a few Italians in our squad and they will be looking forward to going over there."
