Leicester Tigers have completed the signings of two forwards to bolster their front five ahead of next season.
Second-row Mike Fitzgerald will join the club from the Chiefs, while Exeter's Greg Bateman is also set to become a Tiger according to the Leicester Mercury.
Fitzgerald, 28, has been with the Chiefs since 2012, and has won two Super Rugby titles in his time in Waikato. He will slot in as a like-for-like replacement for Louis Deacon, who announced his retirement last month. Leicester are also losing Brad Thorn and Geoff Parling at the end of the season.
Meanwhile Bateman, a hooker, has plenty of Premiership experience having previously spent time with London Welsh before joining Exeter. He scored the final try last weekend as Exeter knocked Leicester out in the LV= Cup semi-final.
