Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham has revealed that Christian Lealiifano and Matt Toomua will share the the team's fly-half duties this season.
The Canberra-based outfit are in the fortunate position of having two world class playmakers in their squad.
However, unlike what is usually the case, both players can play in the same side as they are both comfortable in either the 10 or 12 jersies.
Toomua possesses a superb pass and will allow the Brumbies to play with great width when he is at fly-half while Lealiifano is a strong defender and has an uncanny knack of kicking the ball into the corners.
Larkham will adopt a 'horses for courses' policy when deciding who plays where.
"We have the ability to switch it around depending on who we come up against – you can attack in different ways and defend in different ways," he told the Canberra Times.
"It gives you a couple of different options depending on how they're played. You can look at the different skills of each player and play around with that depending on which combination you go with.
"They've both got a good skill set to play five-eighth or 12. The way the [other] guys respond to them, we change the combination up there and get a different effect on the team."
