According to The Times, Premiership side Wasps are showing interest in Sharks and Springbok utility back Willie le Roux.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Sharks from the Cheetahs at the end of 2015 from the Cheetahs, has made 34 appearances for South Africa.

The Cape Town-born full-back has been linked with a move to the Ricoh Arena following the departure of Charles Piutau who is set to join Ulster ahead of next season.

Wasps, who have already recruited Danny Cipriani and Kurtley Beale ahead of the 2016/17 season, have reportedly begun discussions with the Sharks player and it is also believed that le Roux will retire from international rugby to join the London-based club.
